Behind The Scenes Assistant

Job requirements:

  • At least one reel post, with hashtags.

  • At least 5 instagram stories posted to my photography page, with tags.

     

    Please always tag the people in the images and use hashtags related to the service offered in the comment of the posted reel..

Ideas for what to shoot:

  • Clients arriving and leaving

  • Hands at work-close ups of equipment

  • Things you like at the studio (we take a lot of pride in our home & rent it to other photographers)

  • My pets (sometimes they makes appearances)

  • Happy clients-the live view monitors-conversations-clothes-hair & makeup in action or tools 

  • Clients in action during the shoot (if someone is on a particularly enjoyable roll feel free to hop on a brief instagram live, particularly during large group shoots when the energy is high)

  • Client in action followed by an image of the shot (I’m happy to provide these during the shoot, just ask!)

  • Getting the shot (sometimes I step away from my camera to help with details like hair or clothing and take the photo with a remote while doing so)

  • Our plants

Tips!

  • Use cinematic mode when taking video.

  • Consider using our gimbal, if you are comfortable with doing do (not required).

  • Keep reels short.

  • Have a goal of taking IG viewers on a behind the scenes journey of the shoot, make them feel the vibe as if they were here in the space with us.

I am hard of hearing and my hearing aids are connected to my phone via Bluetooth. I disconnect them before I hand my phone over but they sometimes reconnect on their own, apologies about this in advance if you are trying to hearing music and can’t.

I’ll show you how to disable this if it happens! For this same reason I don’t hear our doorbell when people ring it & may miss things from time to time. I read lips so I’d I’m not looking at the person there is a good chance I didn’t hear it.
